Bookends
Introduction: Gonder produced three known models of bookends. All are somewhat difficult to
find. Having a pair is more desirable, but may be more difficult to find.
Lines of Wares: Bookends are all from the Original Line.
Marks: Two of the three bookends produced are unmarked and would have carried a paper label. Often unknown to dealers, you may find yourself with a bargain!
Availability: None of the bookends are easy to come by. They are found both in pairs and singles. Pieces are not meant to be mirror image, so you do not need to worry about having a right or left facing piece. If you have a single, don't despair, you should be able to locate its mate!
Glaze Treatments: You will find bookends in glazes commonly used on the Original Line. However, you may also find them in Solid Color glazes.
