Many collectors have their favorite pieces, glazes, designers. Everyone that knows me knows that I love pieces in Red Flambe. I also collect Turquoise Crackle, Celadon Green and Pink Crackle - when I can find it. I do however have an appreciation for all the glazes used at Gonder and like to have a few examples of each in my collection.
I also appreciate many of the designs. I think many of Gonder's designs were ahead of his competition. Many pieces could be classified as Art Deco, Mid Century Modern, Asian Inspired and Hollywood Regency. Many pieces focus on nature with many examples of plants, fish and horses. I do have some favorite pieces - not always the rare ones, but sometimes ones that just have a beautiful shape or decoration.
